Goal of the game
Draw a card and follow the associated rule. Hang in there, the game can be a little harsh if the draw isn’t on your side!
Setup
- 01. Shuffle the cards and place them face-down in the center of the table, so that everyone has access to them.
- 02. Draw the first player at random.
Gameplay
- 01. Clockwise, each player draws a card, turns it over in front of everyone, and follows the rule associated with that card.
- 02. From 2 to 6: the player gives a number of sips equal to the value of the card. For example, if you draw a 4, you give out 4 sips.
- 03. The 7: « In my suitcase » (a separate game available on the site). The player must say « In my suitcase, I have… » followed by the object of his choice. The next player must repeat, adding an object. The first player to forget a word or make a mistake takes two sips.
- 04. The 8: « Never Have I Ever » (also available on the website). The player who draws this card begins a sentence with « Never I have ever… » and says something he or she has never done. All those who have already done so take a sip.
- 05. The 9: the letter. The player gives a letter, the next must give a second to form a word (that actually exists, of course). The first player to give a letter that doesn’t form a word takes a sip.
- 06. The 10: the theme. The player who draws this card must choose a theme - car brands, Premier league teams, French departments, etc. The theme of your choice. The next person gives an answer, then the next… The first person who doesn’t get it right takes two sips.
- 07. The jack: « King of Thumbs », based on the same model as « Bizkit » in the game of the same name (which can also be found on the site), each player must place his thumb on his forehead as quickly as possible. The last player to do so takes a sip.
- 08. The queen: everyone takes a sip.
- 09. The king: the player invents the rule of his choice.
- 10. The ace: unlucky, the player takes a sip… Bottoms up!
Variant
- Many versions of this game exist. Here’s one that’s sure to please.
Tip
- Although this is a drinking game, keep your wits about you. This game combines speed for the jack, attention, and a little thought for the cards from 7 to 10.
